I had planned an Asuka costume about two years ago, but scrapped the idea because my skill level was not high enough for it. Now that I have a little bit more experience, I decided to tackle it again. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I'm really happy with the wig because it was originally a straight white wig. I experimented quite a bit with the Sharpies on scrap pieces of hair to achieve Asuka's blonde-ish, brown-ish, green-ish color. XD; The boots were my first big bootcover project where the bootcovers had to be tight fitting. The only time I had done bootcovers before was for Raven, and those were meant to be loose, so I could be a little more careless with them. XD Everything on this costume turned out how I had planned, and I didn't have to do anything over, so I was happy about that. :P
