Who do you work with on photoshoots?
I will do three types of private photoshoots:
>> Individual (one person)
>> Group (between two and seven people)
>> Convention Events (such as tea parties or cosplay "weddings")

Does it cost money to have a photoshoot with you?
At this time, I am only doing photoshoots at conventions I am already attending. Therefore, no, it does not cost you any money.

How long does the photoshoot last?
You will book me for a 30-minute time period. You may take up the entire 30 minutes, or if we're done sooner, that's fine, too.

Do I receive prints of my photos?
No. Your photos will be sent electronically only. You will be e-mailed the full-size, high resolution photos. Smaller, low resolution photos will be posted up in my galleries here at the site. However, you are more than welcome to take your photos on a disc or flash drive and print them off at Wal-Mart or some other such place.

If I have not booked you, is it possible that I can still do a photoshoot with you?
It's possible. If I am not busy at the time you approach me, I will do a photoshoot with you right then. If I am busy, I will tell you when (if ever) I won't be busy. However, the downside is this: you will have to be able to locate me at the convention. This could be very hard if you don't know what I look like, and/or it's a big convention. My con badge will always have "Hikaruhime" as the name, so if you pay attention to those, that could help you out. However, since I cosplay, I could look like anything at any given time. To help you out in this regard, I will post my costume schedule (always tentative, of course) for the convention about a week before the con on the main page of this site.

Is there a chance you will take a photo of me at the con even if I don't book you for an actual shoot?
No; I don't take single photos of cosplayers. I like to cosplay and be with my friends, just like you, so I do not walk around the convention and take photos of random cosplayers. When you book with me, you are selecting a time I have set aside in which I am either not cosplaying or wearing a costume which does not hinder my mobility. Additionally, I have set this time aside specifically to work with you. Therefore, you are getting the optimum photos with me.

What should I do during my photoshoot?
I will come with some poses in mind. However, you are encouraged to have a few ideas, as well. I am outgoing and easy to get along with. I am willing to try nearly any pose/idea you can come up with, so do not be afraid to bring it up. Even if you have never done a photoshoot before, don't be nervous. I will help you be comfortable and get some great photos! At times, I may touch parts of your body or your costume to adjust them appropriately for the photos. Never will I touch you anywhere that can be mistaken for inappropriate. I may move your hair out of your eyes, lift your arm a bit higher, etc. I'm a 5'3" FEMALE; do not be worried about me sexually violating you. ^^;

Can I put the photos you take on my website, Cosplay.com, etc.?
You can put them anywhere you want; all I ask is that you credit me for them (simply say Photo by Hikaruhime or Photo credit: http://an-eternity.com/photo or something of the sort). However, you may not edit the photos in any way that removes the watermark (the Hikaruhime logo at the bottom corner). The only exception to this rule is if you're cropping the photo to make a forum icon.

Can I book you several times in one day?
You may only book me once PER COSTUME. If you have more than one costume, you may book once for each of those costumes. However, you may not book me more than 1 time per day (or 3 times per 3-day convention) in order to give others a chance to have a photoshoot.

How will I know if you have received my booking request?
I will email you to confirm you are scheduled at the specific day and time. Also, you will be posted on my booking schedule here on this page. Finally, you will receive another email one to two weeks before the convention, again confirming your day and time. This email will also include where you will meet me, how to locate me, etc.

What if I need to cancel my booking with you?
Email me as soon as possible at myheehaw@hotmail.com, so that I may re-open the time slot for someone else. If you are unsure if you can attend the convention, I would prefer you wait to book me until you are sure.
